Acro hCG rapid tests are qualitative lateral flow immunoassays for the detection of human chorionic gonadotropin in urine to aid in the early detection of pregnancy. Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) is produced by the placenta and its concentration increases quickly after fertilization, making it an excellent marker for early detection of pregnancy. The test detects hCG at a concentration of 25 mIU/ml or greater, and it is available in dipstick or cassette format. Test results are ready after 3 minutes.
